Description

This undergravel filter tube is a bottom-filter accessory designed to improve water circulation and maintain tank cleanliness in home aquariums. Made from plastic, it assembles easily and sits beneath your substrate, keeping the filtration system out of sight for a cleaner tank appearance. The tube works by drawing water through the gravel bed, which traps debris and waste while beneficial bacteria colonize the media. This passive filtration method is especially effective in smaller tanks where space is limited. The plastic construction is safe for both fish and shrimp, without leaching harmful substances. Works in freshwater or saltwater setups. The tube measures approximately 32–51 cm in height with a 2.2 cm outer diameter, connecting to standard aquarium hose. Assembly takes minutes and maintenance is straightforward, making it a practical addition for anyone looking to improve water quality without adding visible equipment to the tank.
